Hello, everyone. I'm Daniel Mahon, owner and operator of Ace 1 Quality Roofing, Siding & Eavestroughs.

It's hard to believe that it's been 8 years since I decided to take a chance on myself and start Ace 1 Quality Roofing, Siding & Eavestroughs.

When I started the company, I had a fairly simple vision.

I wanted to build a roofing company around good workmanship, quality products and treating people the right way.

More importantly, I wanted to create a company that could stand on its own reputation.

Eight years later, I'm incredibly proud of how far we've come.

Before Ace 1 was ever started, I had already spent more than 20 years in the roofing industry.

Over those years, I learned that roofing isn't just about installing shingles.

It's about understanding how a roofing system works, knowing how to properly prepare a home, paying attention to the details and understanding what it takes to build something that will protect a property for years to come.

Starting Ace 1 gave me the opportunity to take everything I had learned throughout my career and build it into something of my own.

There was no guarantee of where it would lead.

I simply knew that I wanted to build a company I could be proud of.

Over the past eight years, Ace 1 Quality Roofing, Siding & Eavestroughs has grown significantly.

What started with a focus on roofing has developed into a complete exterior company serving homeowners and businesses throughout Niagara and surrounding communities.

For me, this is one of the most meaningful accomplishments we've achieved.

Every single one represents a customer who trusted us.

Someone trusted us with their home.

Someone trusted us with their investment.

Someone trusted us to solve a problem.

Someone trusted us enough to recommend us to someone else.

That's something I don't take for granted.

In an industry where reputation is everything, having more than 300 five-star reviews is something I'm extremely proud of.

But I also understand that those reviews aren't just numbers.

They're people.

They're families, homeowners and businesses throughout Niagara who gave us an opportunity.

And for that, I'm incredibly grateful.

The Challenges Behind the Business

When people see a successful business eight years in, they don't always see everything that happened along the way.

There have been plenty of early mornings.

Long days.

Difficult projects.

Weather delays.

Unexpected problems.

Tough decisions.

Mistakes and lessons.

There have been times when things didn't go according to plan.

But that's part of building something.

Every challenge taught us something.

Every difficult project made us better.

Every customer interaction helped shape the company.

And every year gave us another opportunity to improve.
